kava a little over 8 months

i'm a little behind.. but not too much.

here's some pics of my spoiled child at 8 months. i say spoiled because my dad does not put this boy down. so, therefore, i can't put him down. i don't think it would be such a bad thing if i didn't have 2 other children to tend to; ie, make dinner, help with homework, bathe.

i know soon he'll walk, not wanting to be held, then soon he'll be in kindergarten, :(

he seems really interested in table food. if the boy had teeth (that's right, not one tooth) i would throw that crap in a jar out and give him some food.

he is quite the giggler. he laughs so easily. he is my happy guy.
8 months went by way too fast..
ps- i think he's going to have curly hair like kainoa.. that little curl on the side always pops out after a bath. ;) so cute.

beginning to look a lot like christmas!

cake in his beanie is symbolic of christmas! cold weather, snuggles, fire place!! yes.. our favorite time of year. we decorated the house right after thanksgiving and the kids were soo excited. they kids decorated the tree all by themselves (no rearranging of ornaments from mom). they picked out the colors, lights, and went to town. it's a little mix matched, but i think thats the best part.

kainoa keeps singing christmas songs, talking about santa. i love it. kyks is just as excited.

this year at kainoa's school play, he played joseph. too cute. especially because when kymora was his age, she was mary.

on another note, kava is seven months. dr's report, he's under weight. what?! 17lbs. he kind of sits up, then falls over. doesn't really crawl. does the army-ish kind though. fine with me. ;) more for me to hold and fuss over.

thanksgiving

behind behind on blogging!

kava's first thankgiving was mommy's favorite of all time. why? the food on both sides was
A-MAZING. the best ever.

kids loved seeing the family. too bad muelu had to work :(

my sister did a great job putting on her first turkey day all by herself. it was wayyy too yummy!

goofy family...

the kids and via getting antsy.

we have so much to be thankful for. our wonderful families are a blessing in itself. thankful for jobs, a home, healthy happy kids, and so much more. here's to next year's thanksgiving ;)

kainoa is a cheetah!!

well, in soccer that is. his team's name is the Cheetahs. doesn't really go, but whatever! he loves to play! i love seeing how he has to be just like his ate.

first game he scored 2 goals.. for the other team. ;) he redeemed himself when he scored for his team later.

he loves to go to practice and he loves when family members come to watch him play. it's crazy in our house right now with muelu working some weekends and kymora playing as well. crazy but fun and i love it. kava is great company.... he's just hangs on the sidelines rain or shine.

i had to post these pics too. he loves sports, trucks, dirt, but he also loves to help me in the kitchen.. his future wife is going to be one lucky chick.

mr. kava cake is 6 months old

super fast! half a year already. kava is 17 lbs and wears 9 months in clothes. wholly moly!

rolls over and over.. teething (don't miss this), giggles, and talks.

s l o w d o w n, my baby....

kava's first halloween

the kids had a great time. kainoa was a trooper going from house to house. kymora had her friends and kava ... well he fell asleep.

the kid's costumes:

kymora the rapper (her idea)

kainoa as iron man

kava as a baby ;) hehe..
