Soccer soccer soccer!!!!!!

Kymora started her soccer season with a new team. Unfortunately, Beach fell apart so she joined a new team.

She's growing so much as a player. It's so exciting to see her develop and change. This is a kid who really loves the sport. i hope it sticks!

Here's to a great season, my little mid fielder! You know we love to watch you, too!

Kainoa and Fall Ball 2012

This fall Kainoa started fall ball. It's a more relaxed season on baseball. Only one practice, games on Sunday and if you can't make it, no biggie. Perfect way to have him and ate in a sport at the same time. This past Sunday was his first game. Yes, ok, he is probably one of the older ones and one of the bigger ones, but he did really well. Home run! And when he was on first, he caught the ball (in the air!) and got someone out.

He told me today that he really likes baseball... i'm so happy he found something that he likes. he hated basketball and soccer. so, he tried baseball, and he loves it. So proud of him. I love watching him. Go Noa!! xoxo

summer 2012 is coming to an end

i think this summer we've gone to the beach more than any other summer of the kids short little lives. the two olders have learned to boogie board and have become big fans of it. needless to say, all 3 k's love the water. all day all night water water water. kava runs or darts straight for the waves. we have to make sure we are ALWAYS holding his hand.

so, this is it for summer 2012. another short summer another new school year comes upon us. i have 2 in school soon, it'll be all three. time is sure going by fast. here's to 1st grade, 5th grade and one more year closer to kindy.

kainoa learns to blow a bubble!

Almost 6 and Kainoa learns how to blow a bubble! This is a big deal to the kid who looooves gum to no end. funny and cute, ate was almost 5 when she learned how to blow. if you want to know, just read  here :)

pismo beach..and a pool

one of the days in santa maria, we went swimming at my mom's hotel and then went on a little adventure back to pismo. we were in search for fruit stands. that didn't pan out so we went and got banana rum crepes and strawberry nutella crepes. fruit stand, crepe shop, same same. we couldn't believe how hot it was in santa maria! i can't remember the last time i wore short there, let alone swim! great times, great memories. reunion pics to follow!

Family Reunion 2012 and Pismo Beach

Great memories were made this weekend in santa maria. The last time we went there were only 4 in our family. We went to pismo beach. The kids boogie boarded in the cccccold water. the cousins buried kids, kava ran around and stepped on random kid's sandcastles. nice. they really really love the ocean.

 After some fun swimming we had to have the infamous splash cafe clam chowder. sooo good. a tad salty this time, but still yummy. especially with the sourdough bread..

  

Full and feeling adventurous, kainoa (who doesn't like to try anything new) wanted to try chocolate covered crickets. so, we all did. surprisingly, it wasn't disgusting, just really crunchy. muelu commented that he was eating a wing while i was picking legs outta my teeth. we had a great time. our little family needed this before school starts. boo.
