just some fun pics of kymora at soccer camp. she got to meet 4 galaxy players, get some training, and, got some freebies. not bad for a free soccer camp!

kava 5 months!
already?! my little guy is 5 months today. he is now teething and rolling over onto his tummy. he started this at 4 months. we can't leave him alone on the bed anymore. isn't that fast for a 4 month old? will he walk at 6 months? ;)
he started some rice cereal and food earlier this month. he's so fully of giggles, he has the whole family laughing. he's super ticklish too. i love the way he looks at me... as if i'm the only person in the room. almost half way to a year old. slow it down, pls...
chuck e cheese and cupcakes
now that kainoa is in school, we have to wake him up earlier than usual so he can open his gifts for his birthday. this is a first for us.
let's just say waking up your kid to open presents isn't as glamorous as it sounds... after he really woke up, he enjoyed waking up to this...
and this....
he's still into Cars, so he loved his gifts. all toys for the little guy. that was a first also.
at lunch, muelu, kyks and i surprised him with cupcakes at school. we decided to play hooky and take kainoa out of class after lunch to go to his favorite place, Chuck E. Cheese. just us. it was perfect, not crowded and he got to play all the games all day.
after c.e.c., we came back to the house for dinner and cake. this birthday was one of the simplest, easiest we've done. kainoa didn't care. he was so happy just to celebrate his day. the easy going guy is easy to please.
loved this birthday. love this little guy.

happy 4th birthday, kainoa
today you are 4. you started pre school, learned how to ride a bike, learned how to put puzzles together like a pro, and also became a big brother this year. what a great and fulfilling year this has been for you.
you are a bigger boy than i want you to be. you bring so much joy to our lives. your silly dances, your sense of humor, the way your eyes light up at the sight of a car, your smile, your great imagination give our family happiness. i hate to say it, but this year when you started school, i was really unorganized and unprepared. i kept hoping that we wouldn't find a school... with the hopes that you would have to stay home one more year.
although i'm happy to watch you grow up, at the same time i'm sad. i hope you remain the carefree, independent, intelligent boy you are.
happy happy birthday, bubba! xoxo we love you.. too much!

super emo
i particularly loved a series of shots that popped up almost every month. that's the one's of kymora and kainoa just snuggling for the heck of it- bedtime, watching tv time, because they are sick or just because. it really is very sweet. if you saw them now, you wouldn't think they're capable of such love between brothers and sisters ;) behind the scenes ... maybe.
i love this one because you can see kainoa holding his ate's face as she sleeps. he has such a spot for her. kymora is in big sister mode, especially with kava around.

now that there are 3, i want them all to be close. i want them to grow up with the mindset that they are there for each other.. i want them to be best friends.. is that unreasonable? ;)
(love you guys.. too much)

kava 4 months xo
kava cakes is 4 months today! my little baby is getting big so fast! he's pretty long (to me), he's quite the giggler, and best of all, a great sleeper! goes to bed at 8, like a champ. wakes up for a feed at about 4:30am and he's back to sleep.
he recognizes his momma the most. gets so excited to see me (melts my heart;). at four months he stands at 26 inches and weighs 14 lbs. he's a long little guy ;)
his little toes..
happy four months, kava boy! we love you.
Soccer, baby!
she's a defender this year and she's learned and improved so much. we are so proud of her. i just hope she doesn't stop playing. i know daddy would be heartbroken. this summer, they've gone to the park just to practice some drills and he's even made the whole family t-shirts to show our support. obsessed? maybe, but i'd like to think we are obsessed w/her and not just the game ;)
muelu's t-shirt creations:
